The Chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Area, Hon. Charles Wobodo has inaugurated into office the council secretary, supervisors, special assistants, senior special assistants, and principal aides.
He charged the newly appointed political appointees to live up to expectation, pointing out that those who do not take their jobs seriously would be dropped to accommodate others who are willing and ready to do the work.
He noted that his administration has come to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of Ikwerre Local Government, and therefore, all hands must be on the deck to achieve set goals.
He maintained that soon, he would begin to commission projects across the 13 wards of the LGA.
Also speaking, the member representing Ikwerre Constituency in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Prince Lemchi Nyeche called on the newly sworn-in appointees to be creative and viable in their various positions.
Those sworn-in include the council’s legal adviser, Barr, Kposorochi Wobodo; Chief of Staff, Barr. Okachi Ordu; Confidential Secretary, Ismeal Nyemezu, and Chief Press Secretary, Wariso Wariso.
Others include Chinedu Ofurum, Senior Special Adviser (SSA) on New media; Chief Protocol Officer, Wobilor Nmom; Barr. Moore Igwe, Senior Special Adviser on Revenue, and Daniel Emerengwa, Protocol 2, among others.
