The Chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Area, Hon Charles Wobodo, on Friday, October 31st, 2025, received a delegation of Omanwa Renewed Hope women from various units in Omuawa Community , at the Council headquarters, Isiokpo, in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers.
The women were on a courtesy visit to the Chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Area to congratulate him on his successful local government election and his emergence as the Chairman, Ikwerre Local Government council.
The Omuawa Renewed Hope women group, led by former Vice- Chairman, Ikwerre Local Government Area, Hon. Mrs Rejoice Ifeoma Nyenwe, used the visit to present a portrait of Ikwerre Local Government council Chairman, Hon. Wobodo, as well as various agricultural products to the Chairman.
In his response, Hon. Charles Wobodo, commended the women for their thoughtfulness, and reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive governance, assuring that everybody would be carried along, regardless of political affiliation.
