The state chairman of the labour party, comrade Deinye Pepple has dismissed claims by one Hilda Dokubo who is parading herself and claiming as the state chairman of Labour Party.
Deinye faulted Hilda Dokubo’s claims in an interview with our reporter in port Harcourt.
According to comrade Deinye, Hilda Dokubo has been suspended from the party long ago for misconduct and misappropriation of funds by the ward leadership of the party.
He posited that Hilda Dokubo can only be recalled if the National Executive Committee ( NEC) meet and lifts the suspension on her, otherwise she remains suspended, pointing out that Hilda Dokubo is not a member of the labour party, let alone being the Chairman of the party.
He maintained that she does not have the right or capacity to speak for the labour party, because she is no longer a member of the party.
On the forth coming LGA election, Deinye stressed the need for a free, fair and credible Local Government council election, even as he enjoind the new RSIEC Chairman to conduct an election devoid of electoral malpractices, positing that labour party will clip most of Chairmanship positions.
He used the opportunity to enjoin the public to disregard comments by Hilda Dokubo because, according to him, ( Deinye) ” Hilda Dokubo is speaking like an actress,” he summed up.
