Rumukalagbor Community in port Harcourt City Local Government Area of Rivers State have passed a vote of confidence on their illustrious Son and Member Representing Port Harcourt Constituency 1, at the federal House of Representatives.
Members of Rumukalagbor Community who expressed confidence on their son, said that they were overwhelmed with the development strides of Hon. Manuchim Umesuruike who has displayed high sense leadership qualities at the green chambers.
Rumukalagbor Community averred that the development achievements of Chief Manuchim cannot be overemphasized, even as they opined that the community is overwhelmed with the achievements so far recorded by their representative.
They further stated that the choice of Hon Manuchim Umesuruike, to represent Port Harcourt Constituency 1, at the green chambers was a right step in the right direction, as he has performed creditably well, hence the endorsement.
The community maintained that the leadership qualities of Hon. Manuchim has also transcends to Rumukalagbor Community where he, Manuchim single handedly organized and sponsored Rumukalagbor Community youth election, devoid of rigging, quarrels, challenges and or electoral violence.
In his speech, Elder Felix Kalagbor described Hon Manuchim Umesuruike as a peaceful lawmaker who ensured free, fair, transparent, and credible election in Rumukalagbor Community, pointing out that for 7 years,
Rumukalagbor Community never had any youth election until the intervention of Hon. Manuchim Umesuruike.
Also speaking, Ms Gloria Kalagbor affirmed that Hon. Manuchim Umesuruike has affected members of Rumukalagbor positively in terms of Infrastructural Development, empowerment, financial support, youth empowerment and care for the elderly.
According to Ms Gloria Kalagbor, Hon. Manuchim Umesuruike distributed over 1,000.000 bags of rice and other items to members of Port Harcourt Constituency 1.
Other speakers include, Sampson Mbata Kalagbor, Kalagbor Ndamati and Hon. Gabriel Kalagbor described Hon. Manuchim Umesuruike as a true representative of the people of Phalga constituency 1, positing that apart from the numerous empowerment programs for the people, Infrastructural Development and financial support to members of the constituency, Hon. Manuchim also constructed drainages to free flow of water at Waja axis of port harcour city, adding that a man such as Hon. Manuchim Umesuruike who has the interest of the people at heart deserved to be commended and appreciated for a good job well done, hence the vote of confidence on him, because, according Rumukalagbor Community, Chief Hon. Manuchim Umesuruike has performed creditably well as an effective and efficient representative of the Port Harcourt Constituency 1, at the National Assembly.
