UBIE CONSULTATIVE ASSEMBLY ISSUES A SEVENTY TWO HOURS ULTIMATUM TO EZE EKPEYE LOGBO TO APOLOGIZE, RETRACT PUBLICATION, ELSE

The Ubie Consultative Assembly,( UCA) in Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State, have issued a seventy two hours strong notice to Eze Ekpeye Logbo,3rd, His Imperial Majesty, Eze Kelvin Ngozi Anugwo to render an unreserved apology to the Ubie Consultative Assembly for for false publication against members of the Assembly and to retract same within the stipulated period of seventy two hours or face face palpable consequences.

This was contained in a statement made available to independent monitor and signed by the Chairman, Ubie Consultative Assembly, High Chief Masi Bright Enyelike, and Hon. Chigbo Sam – Eligwe,PhD, ( BOT HCDT).

The Ubie Consultative Assembly said that Eze Kelvin Ngozi Anugwo would not only retract the said defamatory publication and the purported dissolution of the Ubie Consultative Assembly, but he should also tender unreserved apology to the Ubie Consultative Assembly and its members on all the media channels he used in the publication and circulation of the said defamatory articles and the purported dissolution of the Ubie Consultative Assembly.

The document opined that Ubie Consultative Assembly are Igbu Ubie Sons and some of whom have distinguished themselves in various fields of human endeavours, as Ubie Consultative Assembly has to its credit, captain of industry, former state commissioners, state lawmakers, retired and serving directors in the Rivers state civil service , reputable lawyers and respected High chiefs among others .

It wondered how Eze Kelvin Ngozi Ngosi Anugwo would refer to these Ubie personalities as ,” charlatans” and Ubie Consultative Assembly as ” Arrangement”.

It further stated that Ubie Consultative Assembly is a duly constituted body by the Ubie people and registered under part of the companies and Allied matters Act,2020.

Meanwhile, the Ubie Consultative Assembly had insisted that should the Eze Kelvin N Anugwo fails , refuses and or neglects to comply with the modest demands, as embodied in the paragraph, it will be left with no further option, but to seek redress at the appropriate law court to claim substantial damages in the circumstance.
