It is not everybody in government holding one position or the other that has the qualities of a good leader. To be classified as a good leader, one must possess these characteristics which have been found in the Chairman of Emohua Local Government area, Chief David Omereji. These qualities have endeared him to many, especially the good people of Emohua including those outside the LGA.
A Steadfast, Resilience and Dogged Leader, the Emohua Council Boss, is not someone that could be easily pushed around or manipulated. He believes in himself and in doing what to him seems absolutely right. His commitment to the Sim Administration stems from his unwavering faith and conviction that it was the right place to be. With his strong belief in the ideals of His Excellency and following his footsteps in actualizing his “People’s First” mantra, David Omereji is seamlessly expanding the frontier of development in Emohua with meaningful and tangible projects.
David Omereji’s leadership exemplifies Light, illuminating all parts of Emohua.
Drawing inspiration from an Indian spiritual leader, Sai Baba who noted that “those who walk in the light can never miss their path”, he chooses to follow the path of God, and believing strongly in the leadership of Governor Siminialayi Fubara, GSSRS, he is taking the right step day after day in the administration of Emohua Local Government area.
As a leader with Vision, his developmental projects spreading across the various parts of the LGA speak volumes of his commitment to improving the quality of living of the people. This is an eloquent testimony of his love for the people; a love also demonstrated by his spread of projects that impact positively on their lives.
Take a tour to Elibrada, visit Ogbakiri, Elele Alimini, Rumuji, Egbeda, Umudiogha, Rundele, Rumuewor- Odegu among others , and you will be amazed by evidence of his life touching projects .
In pursuit of his Transparent and Accountable leadership, every project embarked upon by his administration has a defined timeline and handled by competent indigenous contractors with cost and mode of payments clearly spelt out, showcasing an innovative model that incorporates empowerment with development .
His Exemplary leadership quality is demonstrated in his friendly disposition, which explains why his office is always open to people irrespective of political affiliations.
His Philanthropist, Peaceful disposition and large heartedness have earned him a unique pride of place in the minds of the people, who are happy rolling out the drums, showering him with accolades and singing his praises for his unprecedented and unimaginable benevolence.
David Omereji is a God- Fearing and Trustworthy leader. He is a shinning example of a leader who is humble in service. A man whose total and unreserved trust and allegiance lie with God.
Infact, David Omereji’s leadership in Emohua is an embodiment of sincerity, inclusiveness, vision, progress and accountability wrapped in unprecedented developmental efforts.
