….Oba Gives Nod On Ospac To Quit Native Doctors
Following crime increase in Omoku ,it’d environ ,Ogba traditional Institution has given backing to the local vigilante Ospac to quick and flush out native doctors in the area who are perpetrating evil
This comes after Anambra State Governor ,prof Chukwuma Soludo gave them hot chase forcing some of them to relocate to Omoku
Speaking in his office at Omoku ,the general commander ,Organised security planning and advisory committee Chairman ,Comr .Emeka Onyeocha said the local vigilante will comply with the directive of the traditional institution with full force
Emeka Onyeocha further described the directive given to native doctors to quit Onelga by the Oba in Council is as a welcome development
Emeka said under his watch no body no matter how highly placed shall be allowed to drag the area back to its past experience
He revealed that the traditional rulers discovered recently that native doctors chased by Anambra state government have relocated to our area and deemed it fit to mobilise us to flush them out
He further vowed it is a task the group must achieve with vigor .Our people belief in us hence the reason we where contacted by the traditional rulers .We have assured them our total committed in dislodging this criminal elements
He said the group will work with the police and other security apparatus to end evil in the area
He hinted that the group have “town cried” to all Communities to alert them to point out native doctors seen around ,indecent dressing by youths ,kidnappers as well as anyone involved in perpetrating evil
We are on ground to sanitise to area of any criminality .We have swung into action .We don’t want such fetish act in our domain
I can assure you that we will do everything possible to resist them because we want the best for children.
Our people are mindful of what they passed through in the past ,so nobody or group can take us back to Egypt
We are fully ready to clamp down on them .We shall be moving from house to house to checkmate them. As we arrest, we will hand over to the police because we don’t have power to prosecute
We must sincerely thank the traditional institution led by Oba of Ogbaland for taken this bold step geared towards the interest of the people ,we asuure him we won’t disappoint them.
We will never allow affliction to rise again here .Our people are conscious of the pass .No right thinking Onelga son or daughter will allow us witness crisis again
We don’t want anymore evil in the land being the reason everyone is involved in routing them out
As a blessed LGA ,we encourage our youths to involve in meaningful activities for the betterment of the society
Meanwhile ,Ogene 1 of Asaga ,Chief Enemuwa Andrew has thrown weight behind the Oba in Council for rising up to the occasion
Chief Andrew ,secretary Onelga area council of traditional rulers said it is a step in the right direction
He decried the high increase in crime perpetrated by some suspected native doctors drove out by Anambra state government ,saying the Oba of Ogbaland deserve applaud for standing against evil especially as it has to do with his people
He urged the people to give the Oba and ospac maximum support to achieve the desired objective
