NNAME ROBINSON DISMISSES ALLEGED DEFECTION OF GOV FUBARA TO APC

The Ag. Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party ( PDP) in Rivers State, Hon. Dr. Nname Robinson Ewor has dismissed the news news making the rounds in the social media and other platforms that Governor Siminalayi Fubara has defected to the All Progressive Congress ( APC) .

Chief Hon. Nname Robinson Ewor stated this in an interview with our correspondent in his office in port Harcourt.

According to Hon. Nname Robinson Ewor, the alleged defection of Governor Siminalayi Fubara is still within the range of speculation and that the Governor has not told him as the Ag. Chairman of the People’s Democratic party in the state, neither did the Governor consult with the People’s Democratic party and the stakeholders that he is going to the All Progressive Congress.

His words, ” if the Governor should defect to the APC, he must consult widely with the relevant stakeholders, the people of the state and the members of the People’s Democratic party in the state, ” he said, adding that the alleged Governor’s defection is a speculation and not true.

On the issue of continued emergency rule in Rivers state Hon. Ewor said that the state of emergency will not last forever and will surely end one day, pointing out that every crisis in the world all over is always settled on the table.

” No matter how they fight, no matter how how many years, the battle must be finally settled”.

” The fct Minister and co needed state of emergency, here we are, the state of emergency does not last forever” he summed up, adding that as a people, and as a group of people and party, they will come to the table.

His advice, ” As a party, I will advise our teaming supporters to be resolute, what we are facing now is a temporary setback, it will come to pass, Rivers people and indeed Nigerians should be resolute, trust P DP, trust the Governor, the crisis shall come to an end one day”, Hon. Nname Robinson Ewor declared.
