OGBAKOR ETCHE EASTER CONVENTION HOLDS APRIL 21, 2025.

The President General of Ogbakor Etche, the apex Socio-cultural Organization of Etche ethnic nationality world wide, Dr. Silas Anyanwu (Esq) has announced April 21st, 2025 as Ogbakor Etche’s Easter convention to to be held at Eberi, in Omuma Local Government Area of Rivers State.

The convention which has its theme, “land grabbing and insecurity in Etche nation” will be under the chairmanship of Nweke Emmanuel Onyekachi, Ph.D, ACIA, ACIPM, FCAI, FABS, MNI, and MCSA.

In a release made available to newsmen by the group’s Public Relations Officer (PRO) Dr. George Nweke, opined that the Easter Convention is unique earn that it is a decision taking day of the Etche people.

He called on all stakeholders of Etche extraction including and not limited to captains of industries, political class, women groups, youths to be in attendance as the above identified challenging problems and many more shall be discussed with the view to navigating prospect available for the people.

According to him, since their inauguration on the December 26th, they have not relented on their bid to provide quality leadership to the people.

“We have taken an assessment tour to Okpuru-Oba where the foundation laying and construction work for the building of Etche Heritage museum would soon kick off, spoken against killings in some parts of Etche particularly, the Umuakuru Igbo incident, against organ harvesting, and as well plan to institute training empowerment and scholarship programmes for indigent Etche sons and daughters and many more”, he said, and urged the people to come enmass for the development of Etche ethnic nationality.
