BARR. AJINWO, ADMINISTRATOR EMOHUA LGA WITH MRS INUME RAYMOND, HLGA OF EMOHUA DURING A TOUR ROUND THE SECRETARIAT
Barr.Franklin Ajinwo,newly-appointed Administrator of Emohua Local Government Area(EMOLGA) in Rivers State,has stated his resolve to prioritize the welfare of the council workers and the effective delivery of democratic dividends to all the communities in the area.
The Administrator,who is the immediate past President of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees(NULGE) in the state,came out with this on Monday, April 14,2025 at the Council Secretariat in Emohua after taking a tour of inspection of both on-going and completed projects within the council premises.
Guided by the Head of Local Government Administration (HLGA),Mrs.Inume Raymond,the Emohua LGA Administrator went round to see the Doctors’ Lounge, Primary Health Centre Facility,the designated. Chairman’s Office Complex,the Council Cold Room, Council Store, the Pavilion etc,in the company of other Management Staff of the council.The Administrator informed that he would only continue all the on-going projects after integrity tests, because the safety of the people must always be #1.
Barr.Ajinwo said he would ensure the provision of office spaces as soon as possible to enable staffers discharge their services in a conducive atmosphere,but also warned against absenteeism, pointing that “workers must earn(deserve) their wages”.You know that I am one of you and I desire the best for you…so,let us work together and improve the situation here, Ajinwo pleaded.
After the handover was done in the office of the HLGA,Barr. Ajinwo announced the immediate dissolution of all committees and directed the Council’s Head of Works to liaise with officials of the Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company to facilitate a quick return of public power to both the Council Secretariat and the communities in EMOLGA.
He maintained that he would operate fully according to directives of the State Sole Administrator, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas(rtd) and the will of the chiefs and people of Emohua LGA.
