The General Overseer of Omega Power Ministry, Worldwide, Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, has on Tuesday April 1,2025, surprisingly stormed the mile 1 flyover market to shop for over five hundred ( 500) less privileged under his care.
The school children and the pupils who are completely under the care of the OPM General Overseer are between the ages of 2-5 years old, 10-15 and above.
The Children who are comprised of males and females were conveyed to the Flyover mile 1 market with about five big coaster buses with tight security and were freely allowed by the G. O to select and pick whatever they like, no matter the cost.
Our reporter who followed up the shopping process saw that some of the Children picked shoes, bags, shirts, trousers, wrist watches, sandals, canvas, belts and other items that ranges between twenty to thirty thousand naira each, while the people who takes care of the little babies of two to five years old were also allowed to select as many clothes and other items necessary items as possible.
Speaking to our reporter shortly after the OPM free shopping for the less privileged, General Overseer of the Omega Power Ministry Worldwide, Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere said, shopping for orphans and less privileged in the society is something he is doing regularly.
He said, ” I decided to take my Children for shopping at the Mile 1, flyover market to do clothes shopping, over five hundred children were taken to the market for shopping “, Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere summed up.
According to OPM General Overseer, most of the Children were picked from the streets, while some were dumped at his gate, pointing out that most of them do not have fathers and Mothers to take care of them.
His words,” most of the children were dumped at my gate, most of them no father, no mother, they just dumped them on my gate,”he said.
On his to other Pastors and Men of God, Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere advised other Pastors in Nigeria to do a little help as it will go a long way in helping the people in the society, especially the less privileged ones.
Speaking on how he generated such huge amount of money to do free shopping for the less privileged children, Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere said that he used the money from the church offerings and tithes, even as he opined that all the children are under his care.
” We take care of their education,, free accommodation and free feeding”.
Meanwhile, One of the children who spoke to our reporter, on condition of anonymity, aged fourteen years, said that the General Overseer of Omega Power Ministry Worldwide, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere Gift gave them free accommodation, free three times square mills daily as well as free education.
He disclosed that most of them do not know their parents, and that the parents they see as their mothers and fathers is OPM General Overseer and those taking care of them.
He expressed gratitude to Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere Gift for all that he is doing to give them hope and future and prayed God to continue to bless Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere Gift
