Stakeholders in Ogba/ Egbema/ Ndoni local government area have said that the Chairman of Ogba/ Egbema/ Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State, Hon. Prince Isaac Umejuru has performed creditably well above the expectations of the people within his 100 days in office
Speaking to our , a business man and major stakeholder in Ogba/ Egbem/ Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State, Mr Onita Chukwuma made the remarks in a chat with our correspondent.
Onita said that Hon. Umejuru’s unparalleled developmental strides speak volume of his unprecedented achievements ,especially in the areas of infrastructure, health,education,security and human capacity building are testament of his legacies in the local government
According to Onita, Hon.Umejuru within his 100 days in office as chairman of Onelga , he was able to embark on the remolding of the community secondary school,Mgbede, which , Onita said was completed within the Onelga Chairman’s 100 days in office.
He said,” the good and the development projects executed in the local government area showed a transformative impact of Hon. Prince Isaac Umejuru”
The Onelga stakeholder recalled that more than hundreds of Egbema youths, including the from ward 11 and 12 pledged their unflinching and unalloyed support and loyalty to the council chairman ,Hon. Umejuru for changing the face of the local government ,through his people oriented projects in the LGA .
The Onelga business man also enumerated other projects that embarked upon by the people’s chairman, Hon. Isaac Umejuru, such as the construction of an ultra- modern six class room block at Mbede,Egbema,which he, Onita said that the structure has provided a conducive learning environment for the students
Mr Chukwuma opined that apart from the provision of six classroom block at Mbede , Umejuru also developed an ultra- modern market at Ogbidi, which,according to him is boosting economic growth and improving commercial activities within the community.
He also pointed out other people’s oriented projects like the fencing of community primary school 2, Obohia,Omoku, in addition to the total renovation of the Onelga legislative complex which he posited has promoted effective legislative activities in the council.
He used the opportunity to call on the good people of Onelga to rally round Hon. Prince Isaac Umejuru in his efforts to transform and to take Onelga to a greater height.
